And how do you keep those kids busy at the party? You don’t have to think too hard. Fun party games like 'musical chair', 'pop the balloon', 'drop the handkerchief' and 'Simon says' never fail to entertain them. Ask someone to be their 'Games Coordinator'.

If you cannot find a willing adult, you could even enlist the help of one or two older children at the party who are responsible and well behaved. Lay out the rules of the game, if they don’t already know and ask them to conduct the kids' games session. This way, you and the other adults could have some fun too.

If the kids want an outdoorsy game, they could have their own pinata as well but make sure an adult is supervising them. Otherwise, they could play 'toss the water balloon'. Pair them up and have one child throw the balloon while the other tries to catch it. With each successful catch, the two have to move one step farther away from each other. The ones who stay dry the longest win.

Of course, whether they are young or old, most hardcore gamers will refuse to go home until you give them a prize! So make sure you have enough giveaways for everyone at the end of the party.
