Creative & Fun Office Party GamesOffice party games are a great way to break the ice between coworkers and give people from different departments a chance to get to know one another. The best time to pull out the party games is during a retirement party. Quite often an office retirement party has guests attending that may not know each other very well. Party games are an excellent way to get people talking and laughing. If you are planning a retirement party you will need many different party supplies. Some of these include party food, party favors, and of course retirement party invitations. When thinking of who to invite, you should consider the size of your company. For instance, if your company employs 500 people it is quite unreasonable to invite everyone. However, a smaller company should invite all its employees to the party. Choosing Games that Everyone Will EnjoyWhen hosting a retirement party it may be difficult to think of fun office games that everyone will participate in. Unfortunately, you probably won’t find office games that everyone will want to play since there are a few sour apples in every office. If you are hosting the retirement party in the summer, an outdoor party is a great way to have some fun games. Some party game ideas are a company softball game, potato sack races, relay races, or even try a Survivor game theme. Be sure to make the new retiree the center of a few of the party games. For instance you could make him the captain of a team. When considering party games for a retirement party you should also consider who the majority of the people invited are. If most guests are older business people a potato sack race may not go over well. Retirement parties are a great way to send the guest of honor into the relaxing years of retirement.
