Planning Fun Slumber Party Games for Teens

A slumber party is a great way to celebrate a birthday party for your teenager. A slumber party is usually more of a girl’s party rather than for boys. Be sure to have plenty of food, movies, and slumber party games so the teens are sure to have a great time. Teenage party games are a fun way for teens to have a great party without drinking. It’s important to show teens that you can have fun without alcohol. Choosing group party games is important so all of the teen guests get a chance to participate. Board games are a great choice since they require no props or additional party supplies.

Some examples of board games that work for groups of teenagers are Cranium, Taboo, Pictionary, and Balderdash. Each of these games is easy to play and fun for groups of teens.

Movies are another great idea for a teen slumber party. Be sure to take your teen with you to pick out some movies since your taste may be vastly different from theirs. They will probably want some fun girly movies, or perhaps even some horror movies. If you are picking any R rated movies, you may want to check with each teen’s parents first since they may not agree. Two movies should be enough.

Food is very important at a slumber party. Be sure to supply plenty of fun snacks, and this includes some healthy food as well. Be sure to have chips, pop, juice, candy, cupcakes, veggie plates, and fruit plates on hand. If any of the teens have special allergies or food requirements be sure there are a few things for everyone to eat.
