Fun Teen Party Games for a Teenage Sleepover

If your teenage daughter would like to have a sleepover party for her birthday, coming up with some fun teen party games will help to make sure the girls have a good time. Teens can be difficult to please and often get bored easily. Some great sleepover party ideas will keep the birthday girl and her friends happy.

Group party games are best for sleepovers since everyone has a chance to get involved. Other than the traditional sleepover game of Truth or Dare, what can you suggest?

A simple game that requires no props is Pass it On. This game works best for larger groups since it relies on the original message getting confused. Have the teens sit in a large circle. One girl will whisper her message to the next one. It can only be said once. The teens continue to pass it on until it comes back to the start. The last teen says the message. This game is hilarious because the message often comes back completely different from the original. This game is also a great way to show teens what can happen with gossip.

Some other fun party games are guessing games. A great one is Who am I? Each teen gets the name of a famous person taped to their back. They can then ask the other teens yes or no questions to try and determine who they are. The teen who needs to ask the least questions is the winner of the game.

Party food is also very important for a sleepover. Be sure to have plenty of snacks as the teens will probably be up very late chatting and will often be in the mood for chips and candy. Be sure to include some healthy food for the sleepover party such as vegetable and fruit plates.
